Nitin Karmalkar new Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University

Pune: Noted academician Nitin Karmalkar will be the new vice-chancellor (VC) of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Governor and the Chancellor Vidyasagar Rao made this announcement on Wednesday.

Dr Nitin Karmalkar will be succeeding Dr Wasudeo Gade whose term ends on May 15.

Dr Nitin Karmalkar played an important role during the NAAC accreditation of the University
